The novel Beyond The Deepwoods written by Paul Stewart gives his insights from (3) 3rd person point of view on (1) one adventurous boy’s attempts to find his own destiny. (2) Twig, the main character, is a very quick-witted different boy who just wants to be normal with the other the other wood trolls in his tribe. (5) Growing up in the Deepwoods twig was not strong enough to fight of creatures and stay on his own. (4) One day the dreaded sky pirates are looking for Twig and he has to travel across the deepwoods to safety. (7) Along the way Twig strays from the path of the Deepwoods and meets deadly monsters that want to harm him for food. (1) Twig throughout the book endures many problems that shows him that you don’t have to change yourself to fit in, and be the same as everybody else. (6) Paul Stewart the author uses very good vocabulary in his work to bring the settings and characters alive, he also adds in amazing sentence variety to get the points in the book across and be more exciting to read.
